How Flex Protection works
Add Flex Protection at your first placement payment, or within 7 days after your placement is contracted. From then until your rotation starts, you can make one change: cancel for any reason or reschedule once for free.

Check the Flex Protection box on the payment page before your first placement payment. It's available whether you pay in full or with a payment plan.

We charge the $199 separately
Right after your placement payment, we'll charge the $199 to the same payment method as its own charge. Some payment methods need one extra step.

How Flex Protection and the Money Back Guarantee work together

Do I need Flex Protection to get a refund if my school rejects my preceptor?+−
No. Every student receives our free Money Back Guarantee. If your school rejects your preceptor for any reason, or your preceptor cancels, you get a full refund or a replacement preceptor at no extra cost, with or without Flex Protection.
Can I add Flex Protection later?+−
Yes, for a short time. Check the box at your first placement payment, or add it within 7 days after your placement is contracted, as long as your start date is at least 30 days away. We'll email you a link that adds it in one click.
How does the refund work if I cancel?+−
Canceling is free up to 30 days before your start date, and we refund every placement payment you've made. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your start date, you'll still receive a refund, but we'll deduct 25% of your placement price for late cancellation. Either way, we cancel any payments still due, and the $199 for Flex Protection isn't refunded. Flex Protection includes one change per placement, so if you've already used your free reschedule, our standard terms apply.
Is the $199 refundable?+−
The $199 itself isn't refundable, including when our Money Back Guarantee refunds your placement payments. When you cancel with Flex Protection, we refund your placement payments, not the $199.
Can I put the $199 on a payment plan?+−
The $199 can't be added to one of our payment plans. We charge it on its own, right after your placement payment, to the same payment method you used (some payment methods need one extra step). Flex Protection is available whether you pay for your placement in full or with a payment plan.
How do I cancel or reschedule?+−
Email or chat with us before your start date to cancel or reschedule. For your free reschedule, ask at least 30 days before your start date, and your preceptor needs to agree to the new dates. Flex Protection includes one change per placement, so after a free reschedule, our standard terms apply to any later cancellation or reschedule.
