At your option, we can handle all the school paperwork for you. Just upload the documents to our secure portal and we’ll handle the rest. We’ll forward the documents to your preceptor and return the completed documents to you or your school.

Most preceptor placement companies fall into one of two categories:
- Mass-production – Churns through students and plugs them into pre-set rotations.
- Bespoke – Highly personalized. Places students individually with carefully selected preceptors.
As you can imagine, the mass-production companies are cheap, but you’re pretty much stuck with whatever rotations are available when you sign up. You can view preceptor profiles, but you can’t see their CVs or interview them. The bespoke companies provide a higher level of service, but are much more costly.

First of all, most of our competitors guarantee that your chosen preceptor will accept you. If not, you get your deposit back. When they talk about their “perfect preceptor guarantee”, etc… that’s what they mean. They’re not guaranteeing a great preceptor, they’re just guaranteeing that the preceptor will accept you.
This “guarantee” isn’t necessary with Clinical Match Me because in our system, preceptors send you offers and YOU accept or decline each offer. It’s the opposite of how other companies work and it puts you, the student, in the driver’s seat. We don’t need to guarantee that the preceptor will accept you because it’s the other way around. You’re the one who decides which offers to accept.
So what exactly does Clinical Match Me guarantee?
- We guarantee that your school will approve your preceptor. If your school rejects the preceptor, just send us a copy of the rejection letter and we’ll issue a refund immediately. Unlike other placement companies, we don’t have any caveats, tricks or loopholes to get out of refunding you. In other words, it doesn’t matter WHY your school rejected the preceptor. It doesn’t matter if you should have known that the preceptor didn’t meet the school’s requirements. If your school rejects your preceptor, for any reason whatsoever, you’re protected with Clinical Match Me.
- We guarantee that your preceptor will provide the rotation. If the preceptor cancels or disappears before the rotation starts, you’ll receive a full refund. Please note that we’re not guaranteeing that you’ll complete the rotation and none of our competitors guarantee this either. What happens after the rotation starts is between you and the preceptor.
